Helping Companies with their Eye Care Requirements

Strict Health and Safety Regulations relating to eye care apply to all employers. Any member of staff using a V.D.U. is entitled to an eye test and glasses if required solely for V.D.U. use. The value placed upon eye care by staff is high.

Eyecare Anywhere can help you manage this requirement.

Recent research has found that 76% of companies asked said V.D.U.s are used by more than 50% of their staff. H.S.E. research, however, shows that nearly 70% of employers let employees make their own arrangements and smaller companies are most guilty of this. Many of these either allow staff to claim back any eye care on expenses or have no formal system in place at all. The research suggested that this lack of Company Policy can also lead to a loss of control over quality and consistency of service and care. There is also a wide variation in costs. Surely all employees should be treated the same?

Eyecare Anywhere can help you manage this more fairly.

Nearly half of employers would expect to pay considerably more than what we charge.
