Case Study – Urgent Treatment

PM reported trouble with her vision. She was complaining of part of her upper vision being dark.

Barbara’s examination revealed a mass at the back of the patient’s eye. Fearing an ocular tumour Barbara immediately referred PM to hospital for urgent treatment, when Barbara saw PM a few months later to do another sight test PM was undergoing treatment which involved having radioactive plaques on the eye to treat the tumour within.
